Whatever your passion, the International ACAC conference at Northeastern has something for you. Start your morning with yoga on campus, hit the green for a golf scramble, or join the high-energy dodgeball tournament. For runners, the 5K will take you through Northeastern’s scenic campus and Boston’s best spots. Leave inspired, revitalized, and ready for what’s next.

Golf Scramble

The 7th Annual International ACAC Golf Scramble will take place at Newton Commonwealth Golf Course in Massachusetts. This small but mighty event supports the Global Fund, which provides financially supported programming to all members across all levels of the organization. Play one of Greater Boston’s classic public courses, known for its rolling fairways, challenging layout, and rich history dating back to 1897. Breakfast is included with shuttle pick-up provided.

5K-3K Run/Walk

Energize your conference day with a run or walk with colleagues and friends. Get out those sneakers to sprint to the finish line or stroll along the race route. The 5K-3K Run/Walk is an International ACAC Annual Conference tradition. This year, the course wraps around the beautiful Back Bay Fens near Fenway Park. Registered participants will receive a bib for the run/walk, in addition to a T-shirt, water, and a light breakfast. All registration fees will support the International ACAC Global Fund.

Dodgeball Tournament

The Annual Dodgeball Tournament is where global bragging rights and campus glory are earned. Form a dream team, and take to the court in this beloved International ACAC tradition. This event is all about teamwork, and all are welcome. Sign up online ahead of the conference or in person at registration. You can also register with a team or on your own—and we’ll match you with a team. Be sure to bring athletic shoes to outrun your competitors.

Good Morning Yoga

Start your day with intention and community in our Good Morning Yoga session. All proceeds support the International ACAC Global Fund. This year’s yoga session will be led by yoga instructor and International ACAC member Pearl Noh.

During this hour of practice, participants can expect a structured flow beginning with approximately 30 minutes of asana (yoga posture) practice, followed by 15 minutes of Savasana (resting pose), and concluding with 15 minutes of meditation using Sadhguru’s Isha Kriya technique. Please come dressed in comfortable clothing and bring a towel, water bottle, and your smile! This session is open to individuals of all ages and experience levels, including those with no prior experience—everyone is welcome.

Yoga mats are limited. It is recommended to bring your own if you are able.

About Pearl Noh: I am a yogi who practices yoga daily and strives to incorporate mindfulness into my everyday life. Since earning my yoga teacher certification in Bali in 2019, I have been committed to sharing my passion for yoga with others. My teaching styles include Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and Hatha Yoga, allowing me to cater to various levels of practitioners.

Spin Class

Come join the international community for an International ACAC Conference indoor cycling class. All proceeds support the International ACAC Global Fund. This year’s class will be led by spin instructor and International ACAC member John Yi. 

This 50-minute session is a perfect way for any and all registrants to start their morning with a great sweat, fun music, and even better vibes. Epic beats will push you through a low-impact yet high-energy workout on stationary bikes—safe for all ages and fitness levels. 100% of the proceeds from the class will go to the International ACAC Global Fund.

About John Yi: John Yi (Yale University) has taught indoor cycling for nearly a decade, with an emphasis on positive messaging and fun choreography. As a former classical flautist and avid singer, John fully harnesses the power of music and rhythm to coach his riders to peak performance.

Raffle

The International ACAC Raffle is a fun, time-honored tradition at the International ACAC Annual Conference that brings wonderful items from around the world for attendees to bid on while raising money for the International ACAC Global Fund.

Prizes are donated by the entire spectrum of attendees, featuring a variety of items from all corners of the world and all sides of the desk. We encourage anyone attending the conference to donate prizes and to purchase tickets to bid. Want to donate a prize? Use the prize submission form to tell us about your donation.

During the event, tickets will be on sale in the raffle room, but you can also purchase advanced tickets now.

Opening Ceremony and Reception

The Opening Ceremony marks the official start of the International ACAC Conference—and sets the tone for the days ahead. We’ll recognize the achievements of this year’s award honorees and enjoy performances from Northeastern’s vibrant community. Afterward, enjoy a reception filled with the tastes of New England while reconnecting with old friends and meeting new colleagues from across the globe.

Wednesday Evening Hospitality

Get ready to connect with new and familiar International ACAC members, have some fun, and relax midway through the conference. Enjoy a variety of activities, catch up with colleagues, and enjoy meal offers at Curry Student Center and our outdoor beer garden.

Drag Queen Bingo

Get ready for a night of fierce fun at Drag Bingo. Energy will be high with performances by local Drag Queens and everyone’s welcome. Whether you’re in it to win it or just there for the show, this is your chance to unwind, and celebrate with the International ACAC community.

Trivia

Ready to flex those trivia muscles? Join us for a fast-moving night of facts, laughs, and low-stakes competition. You can form a team or find one on the spot when you arrive. Prizes for the champs, good times for everyone. There’s no studying needed, just a good sense of humor and a little brain power.

Closing Reception

Celebrate the conclusion of this year’s conference at our closing ceremony and experience a slice of Boston nightlife at Lucky Strike and Cheeky Monkey Brewing, right in the heart of the Fenway neighborhood. Challenge a colleague to bowling and arcade games, or enjoy local craft drinks in great company. Walking distance from campus, this event is a perfect blend of fun and community. Tickets are available for friends and family of International ACAC members. Shuttle services are also provided to and from the event from campus and designated hotels.
